Operations
Syd-Österbottens plantskola (Swedish) / Etelä-Pohjanmaan Taimisto (Finnish) was founded 1954. The nursery has between 3-6 employees dependent on season. Majority of the production goes to wholesale for towns, municipalities, landscapers, garden centers and other nurseries.
The nursery is a member of the group Nurseries of Finland.
Target and Vision
The Target of the nursery is to produce maximum amount of plants in Finland for the Finnish climate in a cost effective way. This way we can ensure local workplaces, keep the countryside alive and maintain the strong agricultural traditions and know-how in the region.
Wholesale customers
For our wholesale customers we would offer a complete assortment of local and imported plants of high quality at a competitive price.
Private customers
For our private customers we like to offer a pleasant shopping experience in our Garden Center in Pörtom. We hope that we will give you new ideas for your garden thru our extensive assortment of plants and garden accessories.
